Save Concord Wildlife
Raptors, foxes, coyotes, and other predators keep our ecosystems in balance. But rodent poisons—specifically second-generation anticoagulant rodenticides (SGARs)—harm thousands of these creatures in Massachusetts each year after they eat poisoned rodents. SGARs can also harm children and pets who eat the poison itself.
URGENT UPDATE April 2026: We have made it to the State House and we need your help to move the bill forward!
We have a huge and urgent ask. The statewide rodenticide bill has now made it to the Massachusetts State Senate Ways and Means Committee and will be voted on this Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
Please contact your state senator between now and before morning of day Wednesday, April 15th to ask that An Act Restricting the Use of Rodenticides in the Environment (H5217/S2721) be added to the Mass Ready Act, An Act to build resilience for Massachusetts communities.
Attaching our bill to this legislation will give the bill a much greater chance of ultimately passing.
